Child and Youth Worker-3G

The child and youth worker functions as a key member of the interdisciplinary team, primarily providing care to children and youth facing complex mental health issues in an acute, inpatient environment. This role involves offering support, education, and coaching to the clients and their families.

Candidates must possess a diploma in child and youth counseling or a degree in child and youth care, along with a minimum of two years of experience in child and youth mental health inpatient settings. Preferred qualifications include oacyc membership and non-Violent crisis intervention (Nvci) certification.
