Clinical Extern-COVID-OT Learner

The clinical extern supports high-Quality care for patients and families as an unregulated care provider by assisting with personal care, safety assessments, and other delegated interventions. They operate as an integral member of the healthcare team under the guidance of regulated staff and receive mentorship from a clinical extern coordinator.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a recognized occupational therapy program and demonstrate excellent academic standing. Successful candidates must also show strong abilities in teamwork, organization, communication, and adherence to infection prevention practices.
