Core responsibilities

The sessional lecturer will teach community-Based courses in indigenous studies, specifically cree 110.3 (Let us speak cree) during the spring 2026 session and indg 241.3 (Weaving indigenous science and western science) during the summer 2026 session, both delivered live in-Person at moosomin first nation.

Requirements summary

Qualifications require a graduate degree (Phd or ma preferred for indg 241.3) in indigenous studies or equivalent experience, demonstrable experience in teaching and speaking cree, and deep knowledge of first nations, métis, and inuit culture and associated socio-Economic and pedagogical factors. A valid driver’s license is also required.
