Early Childhood Educator, Infant -Toddler

Early childhood educators ensure a safe and engaging environment by designing and leading activities tailored to the developmental stages of children, adhering to the ymca playing to learn curriculum. They are responsible for providing quality care, building positive relationships with families, and maintaining clean and safe program areas.

Candidates must possess a basic early childhood educator certification recognized in british columbia and the required infant toddler educator (Ite) license. Essential requirements also include strong communication skills and obtaining emergency first aid, cpr-C, and aed certification within 30 days of starting.
