The social worker will provide client-Centered, trauma-Informed mental health support to post-Secondary students, focusing on assessment, intervention, referral, and care coordination within a campus-Community partnership. Responsibilities include developing therapeutic alliances, providing psychoeducation, monitoring recovery progress, and linking clients to resources addressing social determinants of health.
Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work and be registered with the ocswssw, along with a minimum of three years of mental health experience. Essential skills include mental health assessment, clinical decision-Making, case management, effective crisis intervention, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities using an anti-Oppressive approach.
