Candidates must hold an md degree, be certified by the royal college of physicians and surgeons of canada (Or equivalent), and be certified by the collège des médecins du québec, having completed specialty training in emergency medicine. Bilingual skills in french and english are preferred, or a commitment to acquire necessary language skills for practice in québec.
