The counsellor will support youth aged 16-24 by facilitating life skills sessions, developing curriculum, and providing one-On-One and group counselling using a trauma-Informed approach. Key duties include performing intake assessments, case management, and assisting clients in developing practical skills for stability and independence.
Candidates must possess a college diploma or university degree in social service work, child development, or a related field, along with three to five years of experience in community health, primary care, or youth programming. Required abilities include strong group facilitation, strengths-Based planning, excellent communication, and proficiency with electronic medical record software.
