The incumbent will provide culturally specific community outreach, education, presentations, and workshops to promote mental health and addiction awareness within the mississauga community. This includes organizing information sessions, distributing resources, dispelling myths, and facilitating immediate service navigation and support.
Candidates must possess a post-Secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, preferably social services, along with a minimum of two years of experience working with vulnerable populations. Strong communication, presentation skills, and a demonstrated understanding of social determinants of health are essential.
