Key accountabilities include teaching and monitoring student progress by providing regular feedback, utilizing a combination of didactic instruction and laboratory sessions. The role also requires maintaining accurate records of student attendance and grades, and actively participating in team meetings and collaborative efforts.
Candidates must be a licensed medical laboratory technologist under the new brunswick society of medical laboratory technologist (Nbsmlt) and certified by the canadian society of medical laboratory science (Csmls), or be eligible for nbsmlt licensure if applying from outside new brunswick. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a hospital laboratory is required, ideally covering at least three of the five laboratory science disciplines, alongside an interest in lifelong learning.
