The teaching assistant's duties align with article 22 of the cupe local 4207, unit 1, collective agreement, involving scheduled student contact time and non-Classroom tasks like material preparation, consultation, grading, and administration. These responsibilities include preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other required course administration.
Candidates must possess an honours ba in classics or classics honours with 15 credits completed and an 80% major average, along with successful completion of clas 1p91 or 1p92 or an equivalent course. Essential skills include demonstrated organizational and effective communication abilities, punctuality for classes, and the capacity to meet deadlines.
