The general manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the regent theatre, balancing academic classroom use with commercial performing arts venue operations. This includes accountability for financial performance, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, workforce leadership, and community engagement.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience in theatre or live event management, including managing budgets, contracts, staffing, and ticketing systems. A three-Year post-Secondary program in theatre operations, arts administration, business, or a related field is required, with additional training in accounting, facility management, or technical theatre preferred.
