The program area leader plans and implements activities and special events for a program while overseeing daily operations to ensure guidelines, policies, and licensing requirements are met. This role also involves making recommendations for program development and promoting public awareness through materials and community event attendance.
Candidates must possess a diploma, certificate, and/Or relevant experience working with children in recreation, education, or social services, along with a valid first aid certificate. Applicants must be at least 19 years old and successfully complete agency screening, including a criminal record check.
