The program area leader plans and implements activities and special events while overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring adherence to guidelines, policies, and licensing requirements. This role also involves making recommendations for program development, promoting public awareness, liaising with community providers, and maintaining required records and statistics.
Candidates must possess a diploma, certificate, and/Or relevant experience working with children in recreation, education, or social services, along with a valid first aid certificate and completion of agency screening including a criminal record check. Applicants must be at least 19 years old and must have or be willing to immediately obtain responsible adult training or a class 4 driver’s licence.
