The assistant helps plan, prepare, and execute developmentally appropriate programs and activities, ensuring adherence to policies and licensing regulations. Key duties include monitoring and guiding children, attending to their physical needs, and modeling positive behavior management techniques.
Candidates must possess an early childhood educator assistant certification and a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one. Successful completion of an agency screening process, including a criminal record check, is also mandatory.
