Core responsibilities
The kids camp counselor is responsible for leading children aged three to twelve through various activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts & crafts, and field trips while ensuring a high level of safety. This role also involves incorporating nutrition education within weekly-Themed camps and acting as a positive role model for campers.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess one year of camp experience and complete the life time summer camp counselor certification before the season begins. Required certifications include first aid and infant/Child and adult cpr/Aed, both needed within 60 days of hire.
