The assistant news editor will collaborate with the news editor to generate story ideas and is responsible for writing at least two stories per issue for the news section. They must also attend and cover various official meetings like ams assembly, board of directors, and senate meetings.
Candidates must possess sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills, and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-Paced environment. A writing sample must be submitted with the application.
