The community connections officer is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating community-Based programs and volunteer-Led projects to help newcomers engage with the local community. Key duties include building community partnerships, delivering specific settlement programs, and managing volunteer recruitment and training.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, social work, or humanities, coupled with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential qualifications include strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, demonstrated relationship-Building abilities, and cultural humility when working with diverse groups.
