The coordinator will oversee daily operations for assigned recreation programs, developing and implementing plans to meet the needs of children, youth, and families while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and licensing requirements. Key duties also involve assisting with staff and volunteer recruitment, providing daily direction, resolving workplace issues, managing budgets, and maintaining accurate records.
Candidates must possess a diploma in a related human/Social service field, along with three years of recent related experience, including one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity. Required qualifications also include demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, first aid certification (Or willingness to obtain), and a class 5 driver's licence (With willingness to obtain class 4).
