The Substitute Teacher will work on an on-call basis for the South Shore Regional Centre for Education schools. They will be responsible for maintaining a productive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
Candidates must have a valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification and a Bachelor of Education. Experience teaching grades P-12 and the ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds are also required.
Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification (minimum TC 5 or ITC preferred) Bachelor of Education Experience teaching grades P-12. Ability to communicate and work alongside diverse cultural and racial backgrounds. Ability to value the voice and contribution of others while remaining open to corrective criticism.
