The successful candidate will perform regular otologic procedures, engage in oncologic temporal bone surgery for head and neck cancers, and collaborate with neurosurgery on lateral skull base disease processes. They will also be encouraged to foster links with other divisions and develop new techniques in hearing and vestibular rehabilitation.
Applicants must hold an md degree and a fellowship in otolaryngology/Head and neck surgery from the royal college of surgeons of canada or equivalent, and be eligible for an independent practice license in ontario. Advanced clinical training, fellowship training in otology/Neurotology, and a research focus in relevant disorders are required, with an advanced degree equivalent to a master's or phd being preferable.
