The recreation aide is responsible for assisting the recreation team in delivering activities that meet the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and cultural needs of residents. This includes engaging residents, coordinating programs, and managing recreation equipment.
Candidates must have a recreation therapist certification or a related human services qualification, with experience in a residential care setting preferred. Additional qualifications include a valid class 4 driver's license and cpr/First aid certification.
