Overview
Teach Junior Math/Science courses including Math 11 (Principals of Math 11 / Apprenticeship and Workplace Math 11), CLC 12, CLE 10, and other courses as determined by timetable needs. Support students with behavioural, emotional, and career needs. Guide students using knowledge of the BC Graduation Program and post-secondary entrance requirements. Provide intervention, prevention, and mediation services through individual, group, and class work. Practice and promote inclusion and embed First Nations Principles of Learning in subject areas. Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and community personnel. Develop positive relationships with children and youth. Participate in school-wide instructional team activities, including School Based Team meetings as required. Attend staff meetings and professional development activities as an integral element of the assignment. Engage in consultation, parent conferences, and positive home/school/community liaison.
