Engage students in home learning activities and virtual programming. Collaborate with therapists, a home learning support teacher, parents, and the Special Education Coordinator. Model a Christian walk as a safe, trusted, and supportive adult. Foster student independence through scaffolding. Advocate for inclusion within the home or community according to students' IEPs. Guide students to develop self-advocacy skills for their learning preferences and personal needs. Provide unstructured social-emotional and self-regulation support during transitions and break-times.
