Overview
Provide instructions to students, including explaining and demonstrating concepts and procedures and clarifying subject areas. Assist students with lab activities and procedures. Help with setting up, testing, dismantling, and storing lab equipment and/or materials. Monitor the learning environment and ensure health and safety protocols are followed. Maintain records and assist with reproduction of tests and organization of course materials. May assist with proctoring/invigilating tests, exams and quizzes. May grade student work (assignments, tests, exams, lab results) using specific guidelines/answer keys provided by the immediate supervisor. Provide consultation and feedback to students on coursework and quality of materials submitted for grading. Attend training related to assigned duties (e.g., WHMIS training, first aid training). Perform other related tasks as required
