Overview
Ensure the well-being of all children and support educational program delivery under the direction of the Manager of Childcare Services. Develop, implement, and lead programs and activities for children. Provide quality care by guiding, encouraging, and supervising children indoors and outdoors while ensuring safety and well-being. Ensure operational policies are established and followed in accordance with the Provincial Child Care Licensing Board and Community Care Facility Act. Plan, carry out, and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences aligned with the center’s philosophy. Support children’s behavior guidance that encourages positive self-concept. Stay up to date with early childhood education and advocacy developments. Assist with housekeeping duties to keep facilities and equipment neat, safe, and clean/sanitized. Perform other related duties as requested
