Overview
Provide day-to-day implementation of the Inclusive Learning program at Grade 1-7 levels. Deliver inclusive instruction and support student access to curriculum learning using a strength-based approach. Develop and implement educational plans including IEPs, Positive Behavior Support Plans, and Safety Plans. Coordinate district and community-based therapeutic supports. Lead Integrated Case Management. Liaise with district, community, Ministry of Education (MoE), and MCFD support and services. Design individualized community or outdoor-based instruction for students. Develop and implement robust transition plans for incoming students and students returning to their catchment school. Use inclusive and universal practices including UDL, trauma-informed practice, mental health literacy, SEL, and First People’s Principles of Learning. Build networks and communities of practice across programs with Learning Services, Inclusive Learning. Investigate, assess, and implement educational theories and practices to transform professional practice across the district
