Plan and prepare learning materials for instructional environments. Teach HCA practice courses (HCA 145 and HCA 155) to a cohort of Comox Valley HCA students using face-to-face and online delivery. Direct student learning in a positive, supportive, and caring environment. Be available to students during scheduled office hours and classroom hours (30 hours/week). Communicate learning outcomes and evaluation methods in writing. Design and conduct evaluations/appraisals and keep students informed of progress. Submit grades in a timely manner. Maintain records of student enrollment, achievement, and other required records; submit marks and student records to the department Chair at end of employment. Work within college educational policies and contribute to education/strategic plan goals. Advise the Department Chair on ordering needs and enrollment management strategies.
