Overview
Attract, assess, and hire the right co-op and intern candidates in a timely fashion. Develop and maintain relationships with key universities and colleges and facilitate deeper relationships with strategic schools. Post co-op and intern needs at appropriate schools. Identify hiring needs and match candidates to roles where they will be most successful. Participate in creation and implementation of staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool. Evaluate skill level, conduct an efficient and professional interview process, and drive the offer process with the extended HR team. Communicate effectively with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure preparedness and share/exchange information with management. Provide an excellent candidate experience, promote the MDA Space employer brand, and propose/implement ongoing improvements to recruitment efforts. Initiate and lead campus recruiting initiatives such as ambassador programs and ensure exceptional co-op experiences. Drive conversion of co-op students to permanent, full-time hires
