Overview
Identify, plan, compile, and deliver training sessions for staff to meet key competencies in compliance with scope. Compile, implement, and evaluate general and unit-specific Orientation and Education programs. Facilitate development and ongoing maintenance of the department’s preceptorship/mentorship programs. Participate in ongoing review and revision of patient care standards, policies, and procedures. Coordinate in-service programs to meet continuing educational needs of staff. Practice under the general supervision of Manager or designate in accordance with professional practice standards and code of ethics (BCCNM) and a person and family centered care model
