Market context
Ontario school boards regularly need substitute teachers to cover absences and keep classrooms running, so demand is often tied to daily staffing gaps. These roles can be competitive because employers look for OCT certification, grade-level experience, and the flexibility to follow classroom plans while providing clear written feedback. On this platform, the job requirements and benefits are AI-summarized from the original posting, saving you research time; review the assignment details closely and be ready to show how you adapt quickly across primary, junior, or intermediate settings.
