Duties

The duties and responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant shall be in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement. These are made up of scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration as may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Athletic Therapist in good standing with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA)
• Must have experience or knowledge of the course material
• The successful applicant must have effective communication skills including, but not limited to, the ability to explain subject material to students, be punctual in attending classes, and be able to meet appropriate deadlines Applications Please include a cover letter and a current resume.
