Job purpose

The scheduling coordinator is responsible for staffing Pedalheads Summer camps. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will analyze, plan, and schedule shifts. You will build accurate and efficient schedules based on camp demand. You function well in a fast-paced and structured environment while utilizing ADP scheduling software.

At Pedalheads, we inspire kids to believe in themselves. This role will play an integral part in ensuring that we have the right people at camps to create a fun and inspiring environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create efficient classes
  • Communicate with camp managers regarding their weekly schedule
  • Schedule Staff shifts on ADP
  • Review labour reports on a weekly basis
  • Pro-actively identify and address discrepancies with staff hours
  • Collaborate with Summer Camp Managers and Regional Teams
  • Receive and process scheduling requests
  • Competencies

Qualifications

  • This role requires working out of our Vancouver/GTA office.
  • Available to work on weekends (Sunday afternoons 11:00am - 7:00pm))
  • Criminal record check required
  • Must be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
  • Some post-secondary education is an asset
  • Experience in scheduling, payroll, HR, or administrative support role is an asset
  • Pedalheads experience is an asset
  • Experience with ADP is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel is an asset

Requirements

Candidates must be available to work on weekends and possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Experience with scheduling, payroll, or administrative support is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP software.
