Club: Vancouver Rangers FC
Location: Vancouver, BC (UBC, Kitsilano Secondary, Musqueam, and Trillium Turf)
Season: September – March
Pay
$20.00 - $35.00/hr (+ 4% in lieu of benefits)
Expected Hours: 2-5 per week

Opportunity
- We are looking for a specialized Goalkeeper Coach to lead the development of our shot-stoppers. Goalkeepers are a unique breed, and we need a coach who understands the technical, physical, and mental demands of the position. You will be responsible for running dedicated clinics for keepers aged 7-13, ensuring they have the footwork, handling, and confidence to command their box.
- The Vibe: Technical, encouraging, and detail-oriented.
- The Role: Lead goal keeper-specific training sessions and provide specialized mentorship.
- Schedule: Midweek evenings (potentially Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays).
- Ideal Candidate: You have a passion for developing young goal keepers. You can break down complex techniques such as diving and positioning, into fun, age-appropriate drills.
- Your Responsibilities
- Deliver high-performance goal keeper-specific sessions in a FUN and inclusive setting.
- Act as a positive role model and specialist mentor for our club's keepers.
- Communicate with parents regarding keeper progress.
- Ensure a safe, organized, and professional environment at all times.
Skills & Requirements • Experience
- Previous experience playing or coaching the goalkeeper position is required.
- Qualifications: A Canada Soccer Goal keeper Diploma (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Certifications: Current Standard First Aid/CPR-C and a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
- Logistics: Must be located in Metro Vancouver and ready to start in September.
- Fitness: Ability to be active and on your feet for 3+ hours.
