About the role

The educator is responsible for implementing engaging programming tailored to children's needs while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. They will actively supervise children and foster positive relationships with families and colleagues.

About the Role

We are seeking childcare Educators for following programs: Infants Toddlers (Permanent) Toddlers (1 Year Mat Leave Coverage) Preschool at our Sierra Springs & Airdrie Crossing Magic Mountain locations in Airdrie. We are looking for someone who possess a strong understanding of child development, exceptional engagement skills, and a dedication to fostering positive relationships with both children and colleagues. The ideal candidates will be dependable, adaptable, fluent in English, and exhibit outstanding communication and multitasking abilities. Prior experience is advantageous, and candidates must possess Alberta Child Care certification levels 1, 2, or 3, along with current criminal record check (with vulnerable sector search) and first aid certification.

What you'll do Implementing engaging programming tailored to the interests and needs of the children.

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the environment.

Leading and supporting children in integrated learning and recreational activities.

Actively supervising and engaging with children while ensuring their well-being.

Assisting in providing regular communication to parents.

Cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Participating in professional development initiatives.

Adhering to Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulations and Active Start's policies and procedures to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

Prior childcare/daycare experience is a must Level 1, 2 or 3 Child Care Certification is required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional, adaptable, and fluent in English Proficiency in computer applications and administrative systems Knowledge of Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulations (preferred) Current Criminal Record Check and First Aid Certification (or willingness Why Join Magic Mountain? Requirements
