Position Information

Location New Westminster/Coquitlam Campus Salary Range $32.04 per hour (with wage increments to a max of $36.06 per hour). Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement. Additional Information

This temporary part-time (17.5 hours per week) 5 month position is available starting August 31, 2026 to January 29, 2027. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:00am – 4:30 pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department’s need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required. The position is located at the New Westminster campus; however, successful candidate must be available for occasional work at the Coquitlam campus. Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.

Public speaking ability.

Excellent working knowledge of operation and routine maintenance of biology laboratory equipment and apparatus.

Good working knowledge of safety measures related to the operation of the Biology laboratory, including GHS (WHMIS).

Good working knowledge of English (written and verbal).

Ability to communicate courteously and effectively in person, in writing and over the telephone.
