Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field (or fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience).
Teaching certification is an asset.
Good knowledge of Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum, including senior math (Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus, Vectors) and Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
Some experience teaching/tutoring math at Grade 9-12 level (or equivalent).
Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding.
Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.
Must be able to commute to the Leaside location; role is in-person (not online).
Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
Able to teach in French
