Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience, or enrolled in a masters program, will be considered.
Good knowledge of Grades 9-12 math curriculum (including advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry and calculus, and vectors).
Strong knowledge of high school Math, French, or both.
Professional, energetic, and approachable personality.
Ability to build rapport with students and work well as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Genuine interest in helping students learn, grow, and gain confidence.
Previous teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience is an asset.
Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.
Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
Must be able to commute to the in-person location; not an online position
