Can be a dentist. Applicants must be adept to working in a clinical teaching setting with shifting priorities. The work can be complex in nature and work volume will fluctuate with peak periods that will require additional effort. Candidates must have a proven track record of effectively working in a team environment, proven ability to foster and maintain collegial relations. The successful candidate will exercise sound judgment, independent decision-making, discretion, and sensitivity as these positions are privy to and work with sensitive and confidential information. Solid computer skills, proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office and Dental Software are required. Familiarity with web based instructional technology is an asset. Ready for your next opportunity? Through lectures, seminars, and/or labs, provide didactic and clinical instruction and assessment of performance in the Dental Therapy programs. 2. Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings. 3. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current dental principles, procedures and techniques and the principles of adult education. 4. Develop and maintain course curriculum. 5. Conduct various aspects of program administration as required. 6. Provide dental therapy services as required. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA) 1. Graduate of a Dental Therapy Program. 2. A minimum of five (5) years of recent clinical experience, including at least (3) years serving as a subject matter expert in Dental Therapy, in accordance with the Dental Therapist scope of practice. Experience practicing as a dentist will be considered. 3. Eligible for registration and licensure as a dental therapist in Saskatchewan. 4. Related baccalaureate degree (or be working toward completion of a related degree). 5. Training in educational theory and methodology. 6. Effective communication skills. 7. Effective instructional ability. 8. Effective interpersonal skills. 9. Demonstrated valuing diversity. Desired QSA

Requirements
