  • Date:</strong> September 2026</p><p><strong> Join Our Christ-Centred Learning Community</strong></p><p> We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified <strong>Spanish Teacher</strong> to provide engaging Spanish language instruction to students in <strong>Grades 8–12</strong>.</p><p><strong> Key Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons for Grades 8–12. </li> <li> Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. </li> <li> Foster a positive, respectful, and Christ-centred classroom environment. </li> <li> Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents. </li> <li> Maintain accurate student records and collaborate with colleagues to support student success. </li> <li> Participate in staff meetings and professional development as required.</li></ul><p><strong> Qualifications </strong></p><ul><li>Valid <strong>BC Teaching Certificate</strong> (or eligibility to teach in British Columbia). </li> <li> Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written Spanish. </li> <li> Legally authorized to work in Canada. </li> <li> Experience teaching middle and Highschool students is considered an asset. </li> <li> Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. </li> <li> Must be in agreement with the CHEK ABC statement of faith (www.chekabc.ca)</li></ul><p><strong> How to Apply</strong></p><p>Please submit the following documents by email to hr@chekabc.ca .</p><ul> <li> Cover Letter </li> <li> Resume </li> <li> Copy of your BC Teaching Certificate </li> <li> Three professional references (including supervisor references) </li> <li> Faith Story or Testimony</li></ul><p> We thank all applicants for their interest in CHEK ABC. Requirements

Valid BC Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to teach in British Columbia).
