Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
Teaching certification is an asset.
Good knowledge of Grades 9-12 math curriculum (senior math; advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, vectors).
Some experience teaching/tutoring math at Grade 9-12 level (or equivalent).
Strong English written and oral communication skills.
Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding.
Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time.
Available at least 3 days a week: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-7:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm.
Commitment until end of term in June preferred (continuing through summer even better).
In-person role: commute to Richmond location required; not an online position.
