Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field (or fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience).
Teaching certification is an asset.
Good knowledge of Grades 9-12 math curriculum, especially senior math (advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, vectors).
Some experience teaching/tutoring math at Grade 9-12 level (or equivalent).
Strong English written and oral communication skills.
Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding.
Ability to multitask and work with up to three students at a time.
Minimum availability of 2 days; preferred schedule includes Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu.
Commitment until end of term in June (continuing through summer preferred).
In-person role; must commute to the Mississauga location.
