About the role

Provide clerical and administrative support to the principal and teaching staff as directed.

Act as a liaison between the school, community, and internal/external stakeholders.

Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation for students, staff, and school operations, including communication with the CISVA office.

Track student and staff attendance, generate reports, and manage absences using reporting software.

Maintain strict confidentiality in all student and staff-related matters.

Operate common computer hardware and software efficiently, even under pressure.

Manage the school’s multi-line phone system and public address system for announcements.

Oversee payroll, benefits, petty cash transactions, school funds, bank deposits, and related recordkeeping.

Perform general office duties including answering calls, filing, managing correspondence, and creating spreadsheets.

Order and maintain departmental resources, including supplies and materials.

Serve as the first point of contact for callers and visitors, handling inquiries and directing them as needed.

Assist with organizing lunches and refreshments for staff events, Pro-D days, and other in-school gatherings
