About the Role

  • The Wellness Representative plays a pivotal role in promoting health and well-being within the community by providing personalized guidance and support to clients seeking to improve their overall wellness.
  • This position involves assessing individual health needs, educating clients on available health care services, and connecting them with appropriate resources to foster sustainable lifestyle changes.
  • The Wellness Rep acts as a liaison between clients and health care providers, ensuring clear communication and follow-up to maximize positive health outcomes.
  • By staying informed about the latest health trends and wellness programs, the representative helps tailor solutions that align with clients' unique goals and circumstances.
  • Ultimately, this role contributes to enhancing the quality of life for individuals while supporting the broader objectives of health care services in Canada.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in health sciences, wellness, nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a health care or wellness environment, preferably with direct client interaction.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian health care systems and community health resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in health care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in wellness coaching, health promotion, or a related specialty.
