A valid Early Childhood Educator Certificate to Practice in BC. Key Responsibilities: Engages with the British Columbia Early Learning Framework and collaborates together with the other Educators in constructing a creative and inclusive early care and learning environment, thus supporting each child’s emerging abilities. Creates and maintains respectful, meaningful and professional relationships with families that reflect the role of the Educator and honour parents and guardians as the primary caregivers. Advocates for quality child care for individual children and families. Assists the Senior Early Childhood Educator with compliance requirements. Creates caring professional relationships with their colleagues that support the success of all team members and the program. Required Experience: You are a qualified Early Childhood Educator with a current BC ECE certification, current Emergency Child Care First Aid certification, and a clear Criminal Record Check. Salary and Benefits: Salary: $26.47-27.54 CAD Hourly $4 Wage Enhancement is additional to the posted salary Benefits: Benefits begin immediately upon hire (employer paid) Vacation Pay: Starts at 4 weeks paid vacation (prorated to your start date) + additional 3 days between Boxing Day and News Year’s Day
