About the role

• As a per course instructor at the rank of Lecturer OR Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Huron University College, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality undergraduate experience in a small, liberal arts context. Joining a vibrant and close-knit community of faculty, we are looking for candidates to teach some or all of the following undergraduate courses:
• History 1808G: Powerful Words: Global History Through Key Sources
• History 1816G: Histories of Violence

Qualifications

• Completed or currently enrolled in a Ph.D. (ABD)
• Experience teaching at a post-secondary level
• Expertise in Global History

Compensation

Subject to budgetary approval, the appointment will be at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor. This position will be compensated as outlined in the governing Collective Agreement ($17,716 to $19,964 per 1.0 course load) and is eligible for a Health Care Spending Account.
