Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate early years programs and services that comply with provincial and municipal regulations. Engage parents and caregivers in conversations about child development and provide support across multiple EarlyON locations.
Must be a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or currently enrolled in an ECE or Bachelor of Early Learning program. Requires knowledge of 'How Does Learning Happen?' pedagogy and the ability to travel between sites in the Waterloo Region.

Time Away from Work
Full-time employees can join our group pension plan after two consecutive years of employment. Employees contribute 5% of their gross earnings per pay, which is matched by the Y. After three consecutive years of full-time service, participation in the YMCA pension plan becomes mandatory.

What you will bring…
This role requires Occasional travel across the region, which may not always be easily accessible through public transit. The employee must be able to arrange their own transportation to these sites.

The potential home base for this position is EarlyON | Oak Creek, located at 80 Tartan Avenue, Kitchener, ON N2R 0N2. This may change based on operational needs. Flexibility to travel and work across EarlyON locations throughout the Waterloo Region may be required.
