Deliver basketball course content and implement sequential weekly lesson plans for children and youth. Maintain a safe environment while tracking participant progress and communicating development to parents and supervisors.
Requires a diploma or degree in a field related to children/youth and a current NCCP Basketball Coaching certification. Candidates must have at least one year of experience instructing basketball to children and teens.

The Instructor Children and Youth Sports teaches and examines using YMCA curriculum and resources. Instructors develop short and long-term lesson plans that identify the unique needs of the participants. Instructors maintain a safe environment at all times.
