<p>INTERNAL / EXTERNAL POSTING <strong>Full-Time Certified Early Childhood Educator </strong><strong>(ECE)</strong></p><p>St.

James School is located in Vernon, BC.

The school enrolls approximately 180 students from Kindergarten to Grade Seven.

St.

James School is seeking certified Early Childhood Educators for a full- time position (36 hours/week) in their Early Learning Centre, commencing September 1, 2026.

The ideal applicant will be responsible for supporting this programming, possess a valid Early Childhood Educator license, a valid First Aid certificate, and be subject to a valid Criminal Record Check using the link and code provided by the school. </p><p>Preference will be given to candidates who: </p><ul><li>Share in the Catholic faith and actively participate in the life of their parish </li><li>Work collaboratively to plan, implement and assess developmentally appropriate activities and experiences </li><li>Are energetic and enthusiastic about working with children </li><li>Build trust and positive relationships with students, families, co-workers and supervisors through effective communication and collaborative efforts </li><li>Foster a welcoming, safe environment </li><li>Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, planning and organizational skills </li><li>Provide responsible and effective supervision of children of varying ages </li></ul>Interested INTERNAL candidates should submit a cover letter noting their experience and updated resume.
