Act as a communicator and sighted guide for individuals with combined hearing and sight loss to facilitate environmental interaction. Provide one-on-one support to empower clients in accessing information, education, and community participation.
Requires a diploma or degree in human services or related experience, with a strong knowledge of Deafblindness and intervention principles. Candidates should be proficient in or willing to learn alternate communication formats like ASL and Braille.
