Job description
- Employment Program Facilitator Chilliwack, BC | Full-Time $28.50 per hour Ruth & Naomi's Mission is seeking an Employment Program Facilitator to deliver engaging work readiness classes, training sessions, and employment-focused programming for individuals participating in our Employment Program. This role supports participants in building confidence, workplace skills, and employment readiness through structured group facilitation and training. Working closely with the Employment Program team, you will help individuals develop the skills and confidence needed to move toward meaningful employment opportunities. What You'll Do
- Facilitate work readiness classes and employment-focused training sessions
- Deliver programming related to workplace skills, communication, professionalism, boundaries, teamwork, and employment readiness
- Create welcoming and supportive learning environments
- Build positive relationships with participants and encourage engagement
- Collaborate with Employment Program staff and program managers across the organization What You'll Bring
- Experience facilitating groups, workshops, or training sessions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and support individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Experience working with individuals experiencing barriers to employment is an asset
- A passion for helping others grow and succeed Lived & Living Experience This role is supported through funding that recognizes lived or living experience of mental illness and/or substance use as a valuable form of expertise.
